I remember when I first learned about the chakras. My whole world became a little brighter and started to make a little more sense, spiritually and medically.
I’ve always felt a lot more spiritual than our current culture seems to be comfortable with. I have a heightened intuition, and I feel things emotionally before I feel them physically. When I have a stomach ache or a headache, I feel emotional symptoms long before the physical symptoms arrived.
Thank God our world is getting smaller. We get to share our ideas and perspectives with the rest of the world and learn how they see things as well. Traditional Chinese Medicine has introduced our modern, western culture to the ancient science of the chakras.
These are energy centers in our bodies. They regulate our health, stress levels, external lives, and happiness. When they are balanced, we feel good and contribute great things to the world. When they are out of balance, our lives match their disorder.

There are lots of meditations, exercises, and visualizations you can do to balance your chakras. However, the best way to balance them is to having a greater sense of awareness in your life.
When you’re feeling out of whack, ask yourself these 7 questions:
1. Am I grounded in my body?
2. Am I doing what I enjoy?
3. Do I feel my personal power?
4. Am I making decisions based on love?
5. Am I speaking my truth?
6. Am I listening to my intuition?
7. Am I expressing and sharing all of my gifts and talents?
Examine your answers to these questions. Which one are you having the most trouble answering? The number of this question correlates to the chakra that is out of balance.
Make a conscious decision to express the desires of the chakra that’s out of balance. This will totally change the life experience you’re currently having.
