“I am receptive to the inflow and outpouring of the universe.” ~ Eric Butterworth
There are times when we ask and ask and ask. We pray. We damn near beg for solutions to our problems. And nothing happens. We don’t get what we want. And we wonder what we did wrong.
I’ve seen this happen time and time again, especially with relationships. People ask for their soulmate and then they get upset when that person shows up.
I would like to present you with a different perspective to this situation. Maybe it’s not that our answer never came. Maybe we were just not open to receive the solutions.
In the soulmate situation, I’ve seen the perfect person show up and the person waiting for their soulmate didn’t even notice it when the perfect person appeared. It’s not that the universe wasn’t responding to their request, it’s that they were not open to the real solution.
Many times in order to solve a problem we need to expand our awareness. If we don’t do that than we will never be in the right state of mind to see the answer.
Don’t let your answer dance in front of you while you remain blindly engrossed in your problem.
Be willing to move out of your comfort zone to seek solutions. Maybe your soulmate is someone you wouldn’t usually go out with. Maybe your new job is in a different city. A real solution to your problem is something you haven’t thought of before. If you’d thought of it before, then you wouldn’t have your current problem.
So open up. Gain new insight and don’t limit yourself to the same stuff you’ve done in the past.
