Watch What the Bleep Do We Know!? It will change your perception of reality and give you the tools you need to change your life.
Very inspiring movie.
Check out my list of the 5 Life Changing Movies You Must Watch.
What the Bleep Do We Know!? is a 2004 film that combines documentary-style interviews, computer-animated graphics, and a narrative that posits a spiritual connection between quantum physics and consciousness.
This is a good example of how the Law of Attraction is REAL and people can use it to change their lives!
It does not want to hurt you. Or test you.
It doesn’t want to break you. Or see you suffer.
Life is not out to get you.
It doesn’t test you to see how strong you are.
It doesn’t demean you or belittle you.
We project so many false beliefs onto life.
Life is here.
It’s available to us. It supports us and sustains us.
The question isn’t,”Why won’t life give me a break?”
The question is and always will be, “When will you learn to embrace life?”
When will you open up and allow life in.
The moment you do, your life will shift.
But as long as you think life is limiting you, you’ll be limited by your own perception.
Accept life, and it’s beauty will become your life.
The following film will change your perception of reality. It’s called, What the Bleep! Down the Rabbit Hole. This movie is the sequel to What the Bleep Do We Know?!?
It is an amazing documentary. When I first watched it, my world shifted. I’ve never been the same.
Thankfully, youtube has the entire movie that you can watch for free. Watch it below.
Filmed in Portland, Oregon, What the Bleep Do We Know presents a viewpoint of the physical universe and human life within it, with connections to neuroscience and quantum physics. Some ideas discussed in the film are:
~ The universe is best seen as constructed from thought (or ideas) rather than from substance.
~ “Empty space” is not empty.
~ Matter is not solid. Electrons pop in and out of existence and it is unknown where they disappear to.
~ Beliefs about who one is and what is real are a direct cause of oneself and of one’s own realities.
~ Peptides manufactured in the brain can cause a bodily reaction to emotion.
In the narrative segments of the movie, Marlee Matlin portrays Amanda, a photographer who plays the role of every woman as she experiences her life from startlingly new and different perspectives.
In the documentary segments of the film, interviewees discuss the roots and meaning of Amanda’s experiences. The comments focus primarily on a single theme: We create our own reality. The director, William Arntz, has described What the Bleep as a movie for the “metaphysical left”.
I love movies!
When I was younger, I loved scary movies. But as I’ve started to really become empowered in shifting and shaping my own life, I realized I didn’t want to spend my leisure time being scared. So now, I choose to watch movies that make me feel empowered to create new and magnificent things in my life.
Over the years, I’ve created quite the library of positive movies. If you’re in transition in your life and trying to manifest change, check out some of these films. They will give you the ideas, beliefs, and tools you need to move forward.
So gather some like minded friends together, grab some popcorn, and get ready to feel inspired.
1. You Can Heal Your Life
The first time I saw this movie, my life was never the same again. It’s documentary style with a subplot story running that illustrates the points being made. You watch a woman who begins the film being miserable, but by using certain tools to change her mindset, she is able to overcome the feeling of being stuck and unhappy to manifesting a better life. The funny thing about the main character is she is a lot like the average person. She just doesn’t realize you is in control of her thoughts, her beliefs, and her actions. The best part about this film is you’ll get to hear from some of the greatest thinkers and authors in the world of self empowerment. They tell their own stories of transformations and give you solid information you can start using immediately to transform your life.

2. The Shift
This movie is based on the works of Wayne Dyer. It has a regular plot with wisdom from Wayne sprinkled throughout the movie. In this film, you follow three story lines. Although the stories are different, they all involve people who are experiencing a major shift in their life. They are feeling like there’s something more they want to achieve in their lives. They are being called to fulfill more of their potential. The movie follows their struggle to create a new life in the midst of their existing life. It’s an excellent movie.

3. Celestine Prophecy
This movie is based on the novel, Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield. This book is a story and is not documentary style at all. It’s all about a man following these signs and his intuition that lead him all the way to this community in Peru in South America. Along the way, he’s learning the power of the mind to create reality. This film is entertaining and will teach you so much about your ability to co-create your life experience.
When I first watched this movie, it was available on netflix. Definitely check it out!
4. The Secret
Have you seen The Secret yet. If not, watch it! Don’t listen to just what others have to say about it. Don’t buy into negative ideas about this movie without seeing it for yourself. It’s popularity was a great thing because it introduced so many people to the law of attraction. But it’s wide spread fame also made it highly criticized. I don’t think this movie has everything you need to know about life. However, it will inspire you like nothing else can. As you listen to the people in the film talk about their experiences and what they’ve learned about life, you’ll gain real insights about what you need to do right now to take your life to the next level. The power of focused intent, positive thinking, visualization, and gratitude are real. And if you’re not using these tools every day, you’re making your life a lot harder than it has to be.

5. What the Bleep Do We Know
I remember the first time I saw this movie. I didn’t know anything about the law of attraction, metaphysics, or quantum physics. So it was a little confusing, but I still was able to feel a profound understanding of life once it was over. It really goes into the science of how thoughts affect our consciousness, bodies, and lives. It’s an amazing movie everyone should see. The structure of the movie is similar to You Can Heal Your Life. Its documentary style with a subplot playing out where you can see how these ideas work in someone’s life. You will never think about your life the same again after watching this movie. In every moment, we are creating our lives and this movie will show you the science behind how this works. It’s not perfect, but it’s a great start at examining these concepts.

When I first heard Wayne Dyer speak, I must admit that I thought he was a little dull.
But after really listening to the concepts he presents, I’m a huge fan.
He says the most profound things in such simple language that anyone can understand and relate too. His meditation helped me manifest $100,000 and other more meaningful things into my life.
His movie is no different. This movie will open you up to living your full potential. If you are in transition in your own life, undergoing change, or striving to transform some area of your life, Watch this movie.
This is the full movie.
I recently wrote a blog post about how I manifested $100,000, the love of my life, and a successful massage business.
Between yesterday and today, I’ve received a few inquiries about how exactly I did this. To follow up, I wrote How I Manifested $100,000.
In today’s post, I want to share with you some general techniques that will help you manifest anything. Over the years, I’ve experimented with lots of different techniques for changing my life, but these are the most powerful ones I’ve gone back to over and over again. They’re also the techniques I’ve shared with clients who have come back to me delighted because this stuff really works. It’s funny, although I was a massage therapist, I believe that was just a vehicle for me to share a lot of this information. Sure, I helped clients relieve some muscle soreness and pain, but it was when I helped them change their lives that I felt the most alive in my career path.
So here are the most powerful manifesting technique I’ve discovered.
1. Positive Affirmations
This is where I started. This is the first tool I ever used in manifesting anything. Even before I knew what a positive affirmation was. As a child, I had really bad performance anxiety. In an effort to help me relax, my mother always told me, “You have greatness in your DNA.” I believed her. So in times of my greatest anxiety, I would repeat to myself, “I got this. I know this. I have greatness in my DNA.” How our parents talk to us becomes our inner voice. Thankfully, my mom affirmed me a lot. So affirmations were natural for me.
When I read Louise Hay’s You Can Heal Your Life for the first time, my life changed. I knew these simple truths could help me achieve anything I wanted. What we believe about ourselves becomes our life. Affirmations help us change our beliefs, which is the quickest and easiest way to shift your life.
Positive Affirmations can do everything from help you heal some of the deepest trauma in your life to helping you accomplish some of your biggest goals and dreams. If you do nothing else, start using these gems immediately! Check out my article, How to Use Affirmations to get started.
2. Meditation & Visualization
Everyone should meditate. A lot of times we like to give people their individuality and say things like, “Well, it, this, or that ain’t for everybody.” Well, this doesn’t apply to meditation. This is the one thing in the world for everyone! lol.
There are as many ways to meditate as there are people on the earth. Explore them and choose what works for you. There’s walking meditation, chanting, prayer, focusing on the breath, focusing on music, visualizing colors, shapes, etc., guided visualization, and so much more. The list goes on and on. The main purpose of meditation is to draw inward for a few moments a day. Put your phone down. Turn off the TV and computer. And speak to your own spirit for a few minutes. Don’t entertain the outside world. Don’t think about what everyone whats and expects from you. Bring your attention to the inner workings of your soul.
In today’s world, I don’t know anyone who can do without this practice. It brings us peace of mind. But even more important, meditation deepens our relationship with ourselves. So all of those life questions we ask at one point or another like, “Why am I here?” “What’s my purpose?” “How do I change my life?” “What should I do next?” Meditation quiets all the noise around you and within you so you can hear the answers you most long for.
Visualization is a type of meditation that enables you to literally see into your future. If you visualize any desired result with emotion on a consistent basis, you will eventually live what you’ve imagined.
3. Create a Vision Board
Vision boards are a very powerful way to use your creativity and imagination to map out your goals and desires for your life. We are instinctively very visual. So when you can see images of your desires, it mentally helps you actually believe it can come true for you.
Plus, creating a vision board is fun! You feel like a child again. Cutting, pasting, and creating.
The first time I created a vision board, I was 8 years old. I had just gotten very upset with my entire family and I vowed to move out into a house of my own. So I got some construction paper ans crayons and started drawing my perfect house. It was more of a book than a vision board, but it had the same concept. I drew every room as perfect as I could. I was so excited when I finished. I had the perfect vision of my perfect house. The amazing part about that experience is the first house I bought at 24 years old looked just like the house I drew all those years ago.
Vision boards work. Just be patient and allow the magic to happen. Everything we imagine and focus on with emotional intensity eventually comes to pass. One day, I’ll post my vision board on here, but for now check out this article by Lori Hamann on How to Create a Vision Board.
You see, creating the life you want is easy! It can even be lots of fun. But you have to get started and you have to be consistent. God, the universe, spirit hasn’t abandoned you. Everything you need to create your ideal life has been provided for you. But you have to use it for it to work.
These tools are Jesus backed and Buddha endorsed. Are you an atheist? No problem. Even the greatest intellectuals of our time have spoken about these techniques and implemented them over and over again. In fact, you’d be hard pressed to find any successful person who didn’t implement one or all of these techniques as part of their success strategy.
So what are you waiting for?
A reader suggested that I write this post. It didn’t really occur to me that I’ve never gone into detail about how I’ve manifested quite a few things in my life I feel most blessed about today.
Manifesting has become such an integral part of my life, I rarely think about it consciously nowadays.
But it definitely wasn’t always like that for me.
There was a time when I had very limiting beliefs. I had pretty low self esteem and believed I was lucky to have things even though they didn’t make me happy. I was much more concerned about how my life looked rather than how it felt. At the time I thought I was just unfulfilled. But now, when I look back to my mid-20’s, I realize I was pretty depressed and didn’t even know it.
One of my main concerns was my career path. I was working in corporate america, but I hated it. It wasn’t a bad job, I worked for a great company, and got to work with some great people, but it just didn’t ignite any passion within me. I felt like there was something I was suppose to be doing, but I didn’t know what it was. So I settled for just making money.
The longer I stayed at the job, the more depressed I got and the more I yearned to leave.
So I started meditating. I saw the movie The Secret, and was reading all of the law of attraction books and listening to audio CD’s like crazy. I was pretty obsessed.
These ideas weren’t really new to me. My parents told me my whole life that I could do and be anything. They reinforced that I was talented, and one of my mom’s favorite things to say to me when I was nervous about a test or a performance, was “greatness is in your DNA.”
However, I was having a hard time translating this information into real action steps to take to create a happy life for myself in my 20’s.
Everyone seemed to just accept that after college, life sucked. The burden of bills and responsibilities prevent life from being fun, passionate, and fulfilling.
But I couldn’t accept this. I knew there had to be more and I just couldn’t rest until I discovered what it was.
So I started with affirmations. Louise’s Hay’s You Can Heal Your Life was one of the first books I read, and I fell in love with it. I knew I had some beliefs that were keeping me stuck. A few of them included: “Life is hard” and “I have to work hard for money.”
I hate to sound superficial, but money was one of the first things I wanted to manifest. I hated having to get up and go to a job I didn’t like every day just for money. I believed if I could manifest enough money, I would be free to explore my other interests without struggling to feed myself or pay the bills. I decided $100,000 would get me to the next level in my life.
So just like Jack Canfield in The Secret, I took a $1 bill and added some zeros making it a $100,000 bill. I then taped it above my bed. I wanted to see it every single day so I could get use to and comfortable with this number. You can’t make any amount of money that intimidates you. You have to make it seem normal to yourself.
Next, I bought Wayne Dyer’s Meditations for Manifestations CD. I started doing the meditations every day starting on new year’s day in 2008. I visualized making $100,000 by March of 2008. More specifically, I visualized myself in Miami looking really good, hanging out with friends, and walking up to a Bank of America ATM to get money out. When I looked at my receipt, it said my balance was $100,000.
I loved the morning meditation on Wayne’s CD, and started just doing this part rather than the evening meditation. Something about the sound, “ahhhhh” really struck a chord with me. I always felt a divine presence with me when I did this meditation. I also loved how Wayne described this as the sound of creation. The sound “ah” is part of every name for God that we have, across different cultures and religions. That’s pretty amazing!
I meditated for a little over 30 days. Nothing happened. This was in January 2008. March came and went and there was no Miami trip and no money either.
I continued working and no big breakthroughs occurred.
At the end of the year, I felt defeated. So I finally started applying to different jobs trying to get out of my current position. I had been doing massage part-time, so I applied to some full-time massage positions.
As new year’s started approaching again, I pulled out that Wayne Dyer CD and decided to give it another try. The suspense of waiting to hear back from the various jobs I applied to was really starting to affect me. Plus, I knew it was only a matter of time before I just would not be able to make it to work anymore. I was arriving later and later, and some days, I would lay in bed, not wanting to get up at all.
I went to the presidential inauguration that year in Washington, D.C.
When I returned, I was so motivated. I decided if something as unlikely as a black president could be sworn into one of the most powerful positions in the world, I could finally quit my job — at the very least. lol!
I will never forget walking toward my office that day to see my name plate laying on the floor. It fell off my cubicle. And I knew it was a sign that I had finally shifted my energy and believed I no longer worked there. About an hour later, a friend called out of the blue to offer me a temporary consultant position with her company. It was only a 7 month project and paid very well. In fact, it paid a little over $100,000.
I was ecstatic and a little shocked that things had finally started to happen for me.
However, the real excitement didn’t come until March of that year when I went to Miami with some friends. I was standing at a Bank of America ATM getting some cash out and had a deja vu moment. I imagined this exact moment in my mind’s eye or my imagination. Although there wasn’t $100,000 in my bank account because I made this amount over the next several months, I considered that a very minor deviation from my vision. lol. In that moment, I realized the law of attraction, the secret, and visualization really worked.
If you asked me to break down how I manifested $100,000 into very simple steps, here’s how I did it in 3 steps.
Step 1: Have a clear vision.
What do you want right now? Define it in very specific terms. It’s best to choose one thing. Once you achieve the first thing, you can move on to the next. Write the vision down in one sentence. Then, use a paragraph or two to define the details. Describe how your feel and how your life looks.
Step 2: Visualize your vision every day.
This is the hardest part! You may think I’m kidding but I’ve told many people about my accomplishment in manifesting $100,000 and many more things into my life using visualization. Unfortunately, very few people have followed through with the process long enough to make changes in their lives. Even I have had trouble following through some times. We get busy and forget how powerful the process is. In order for visualization to work, you must do it consistently until you achieve your result. Try using a CD or vision board to help you visualize.
Step 3: Eliminate any negative beliefs
Search your subconscious. Think about your upbringing. What did your parents believe about money? What did they teach you? These ideas can really block the flow of receiving more into your life. Once you acknowledge your negative beliefs, eliminate them by replacing them with more empowering beliefs. This is easy to do.
Real quick, grab a sheet of paper. On one side, write down all of your negative beliefs about money. On the opposite site, turn those negative statements into positive, more empowering statements. Here’s my example:
Negative Beliefs New Positive Beliefs
I have to work hard for money. I manifest money easily and effortlessly.
Life is hard. Life is fun, passionate, and fulfilling.
Do this exercise with all of the negative beliefs you can think of when it comes to money. As you go about your day, observe when you say the negative beliefs to yourself and consciously replace them with the positive beliefs. If you’ve never seen the movie, You Can Heal Your Life, check it out. It talks about this process and the power of affirmations to change your life. You can watch it on youtube for free.
If you feel like you’re almost there in achieving your dreams, but you have some obstacles in your way, check out this chant for removing obstacles.
My final advice for anyone looking to change their lives and want to manifest money, love, or anything into their lives is to:
I sure hope this helps you.
Feel free to ask me any questions below.
And please, come back and leave your success stories in the comments!
I still remember the first time I watched The Secret. A friend invited me over to watch the movie. I was hesitant and really didn’t think it was going to be that big of a deal. But I wanted to see it because it had become this huge social phenomenon and I wanted to see what it was all about.
By the time we started watching the movie, I was quite tipsy from the two glasses of wine I had so I wasn’t paying too much attention to the beginning. Plus my friend’s other friend was complaining about the movie the whole time so I couldn’t really hear what they were saying.
At some point, my friend and the complaining girl fell asleep. So I was up alone just watching the last 30 minutes of the movie.
I was fascinated! I almost couldn’t believe what they were saying. Simple things like vision, gratitude, and positive thinking could draw into your life whatever you desired. It really struck a chord with me. I’d heard these concepts in bits and pieces before from my parents, spiritual texts, and literary texts, but no one had put this in quite so practical terms before. They made it sound easy and doable rather than esoteric and mystical.
I was amazed. I wanted to tell everyone I knew, but I didn’t want people to think I was crazy so I curved my enthusiasm.
When I left my friend’s house, I was so high and so excited about the possibilities in my life, I wanted to cry.
Anywho, here’s the movie. Check it out for yourself.
I’m not saying this movie is perfect. There are some flaws like they focus way too much on material things and they make it sound like the law of attraction is the only law.
But this is like the cliff notes for these concepts. It’s a great introduction. If you want to know more, you’ll have to dig a little deeper.
