Greens also help the body detox and cleanse itself of harmful toxins.
These veggies are such a concentrated source of the vitamins and minerals that our bodies need to function on a daily basis. These are also the beauty greens because they keep our livers clean, which keeps our skin clear and hair thick and nourished.
I once heard that our ancestors ate 6 pounds of greens a day! Wow! I don’t know if that’s true or not, but I definitely think our healthy can only get better by increasing our greens intake. Imagine what eating that amount of greens a day could do to our energy levels. Maybe that’s why everyone’s so tired everyday. Perhaps we should put down the coffee and pick up a salad.
