Every Christmas, my family has a family tradition.
We go cut down our own Christmas Tree.
We’ve done this every year since Skye was born. It’s always so much fun.
We bundle up, drive out to a country farm, choose our tree, and watch hubby saw it down.
Here are some photos of our adventure this year.
In this photo, hubby is choosing a saw.
We found one! We usually look for a tree that’s tall, fat, and full. We found the perfect tree. This is one of the perks of Christmas tree hunting at a farm. There’s lots and lots of trees to choose one. You can usually find the perfect one to suit your Christmas tree fantasies.
Here’s a beautiful photo of the farm we went to. The sun is setting so we have to hurry up. This Christmas tree farm was so huge, it felt like we had to hike a long way to get a tree. Thankfully, we wore boots. This is also a great photo of the little baby trees growing for next year.
