“Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right.” ~Henry Ford
Life is yours to mold and shape. It’s not about chance, fate, and luck. You have choices to make. Choices you must make in order to create your experiences in life.
In fact, you’re choosing right now. You’re choosing to read this. You’re choosing what to think about it. You’re choosing how to perceive it and whether to use it in your own life.
Whether you know it or not, every moment of your life you’re choosing from all of the limitless possibilities. So what are you choosing. Do you see your expanded potential? Or are you restrained by self imposed boundaries?
Do you feel free? Or do you feel stuck?
This will be your indication of whether you think you can or you can’t.
Recently, a pastor I follow on Twitter and Facebook cursed out another pastor. He claimed this other pastor had a limited perspective of the world. He became super frustrated by the prejudice ideas this other pastor was promoting on his twitter & facebook page.
Matt and I talked about this situation. We thought it was interesting how there’s a whole new world of people who agree with the first pastor, but he’s so busy cursing and criticizing the people with a limited perspective that he doesn’t have the time and energy to explore a whole new world that could expand his own consciousness.
For years, I criticized religious people, not realizing that there were people who lived the enlightenment I dreamed about. I wasn’t learning about meditation, yoga, and my life’s purpose. I was so busy criticizing a certain group of people that I didn’t bother to open my own mind to new perspectives.
What’s the point of these two stories?
Don’t waste time on the limitations of the world or even your own limitations. Move on and discover what you’re fully capable of. Who cares what you can’t do.
What can you do?
What are your talents?
What is your full potential?
Explore your possibilities not your limitations.
