With my first baby, I did not have a painless birth. However, I did manage to have a few painless contractions. This experience taught me that a painless birth was indeed possible.
So with this pregnancy, I’m practicing my breathing and concentration techniques so that I can experience an even more comfortable and painless childbirth.
To have a painless contraction, it’s all about the breathing! This is key. The timing and depth of the breath can transform your body and mind and enable your body to better cope with contractions and labor.
In this video, I go over how to properly breathe, but I also uncover another secret to painless childbirth. That secret is eliminating fear.
Fear can literally transform your body and increase the pain and discomfort of labor. If you do anything during your pregnancy, work on eliminating the fear of childbirth. Fear causes the body to contract and in labor, you’ll began working against the natural process.
Teach yourself to view childbirth differently. Be open and willingly to surrender to the process. This allows the natural rhythms of the experience to flow through you.
